Clay Facilitator at The Level Arts Centre, Rowsley, Derbyshire

Recently, I have had the privilege of facilitating clay workshops with The Youth Collective at The Level Arts Centre, Rowsley to get creative with clay and make pieces that reflect the local heritage of Derbyshire Black Marble. The creations went way beyond my expectations and wildest imagination, simply sensational, and all unique from the individual maker’s hands. It just goes to show, when given the space and freedom you can release talent and creativity that is inside you even without years of training! The Youth Collective’s exhibition will be on at The Bakewell Old House Museum this Spring 2025. Besides the heritage theme - make sure you don’t miss their wonderful interpretation of a herd of cows that you won’t see in a field near you anytime soon!
